Darminder has over 20 years’ experience in the design and development of AI and data services across the UK Public, Defence and Private sectors as well as internationally within Germany and Japan.

He is currently a Director within the AI Labs at HCL Tech AI in London, where he helps senior clients to identify areas where AI can make a real impact, catalyze transformative ideas and accelerate their journeys from innovation to production.

Darminder is also a visiting fellow at the University of Manchester, Decision and Cognitive Sciences Department since 2021, with his focus area in ‘Decision support for Human machine-teaming’ and also holds an Engineering Doctorate (EngD) in Autonomous Military Sensor Networks for Surveillance Applications, from University College London (UCL).
