Stéphane Sinobad is an engineer trained in France and Germany, where he completed a Diplomarbeit in computer science with a specialization in artificial intelligence. For more than twenty years, he has operated at the heart of complex infrastructures — from the early Internet and European telecom deregulation at Deutsche Telekom to large-scale IoT and smart grid deployments at Bouygues Telecom and in the energy sector.

Across these experiences, one conviction emerged: technology only matters when it truly empowers the people on the ground.

This belief led him to co-found CONNAISSANCE and to build HeyJo, a vertical AI designed specifically for photovoltaic installers, technicians, and field operators. Not a generic chatbot — but an expert companion that understands a profession, its procedures, its risks, and its real constraints.

Today, Stéphane works to bring AI back to its purpose: elevating human expertise, making technical work safer, faster, and more reliable.
