Édouard Couté is currently leading the ICT Design and Control unit at UEFA, where he ensures that the organization's ICT vision and strategy are executed efficiently and in compliance with policies and regulations. He plays a key role in shaping UEFA’s IT strategic objectives and establishing the governance frameworks necessary to support them.
Originally trained as a mechanical engineer, Édouard began his career in Switzerland as an IT consultant for international companies. His journey with UEFA began two decades ago, when he joined UEFA to drive a major transformation program for UEFA’s core football business applications.
Over the years, he successfully lead teams of business analysts and project managers across a wide range of IT initiatives. He later took on the relationship management between IT and UEFA’s key business domains, including football operations and national associations.
Édouard holds a Master of Engineering degree from EIGSI, an interdisciplinary engineering school in France.
