As climate-related risks intensify, protecting territories and critical infrastructure requires a shift from reactive emergency management to predictive resilience. Using wildfires as a real-world use case, this session will explore how Earth observation, ground sensors, drones, AI and digital twins can be integrated to anticipate risks, accelerate early detection, support the pre-positioning of emergency resources and improve operational decision-making. Drawing on the RISE initiative, it will outline a vision for turning AI-powered intelligence into coordinated action on the ground.
