Martin Bringmann is a Senior Director in Neuroscience Translational Science at Johnson & Johnson, where he leads initiatives at the intersection of biology, data science, biomarkers, and AI-enabled drug discovery. He focuses on applying machine learning, high-dimensional human data, and translational research strategies to advance precision neuroscience and accelerate the development of novel therapeutics. Prior to joining Johnson & Johnson, Martin co-founded and served as Chief Scientific Officer of a biotech company developing machine learning approaches for neurodegenerative diseases, where he led the discovery of novel therapeutic targets and biomarker programs. He earned his PhD from the Max Planck Institute and completed postdoctoral training at Stanford University.
