He champions next generation technologies, including GenAI, data engineering and CloudSMART, HCLTech's comprehensive cloud offering, while fostering synergies and innovation with cloud hyperscalers, tech OEMs and semiconductor chip companies.

Vijay is instrumental in incubating Centers of Excellence that position HCLTech at the forefront of technologies like GenAI, software & platform engineering, Data & AI, IoT and IT/OT. These CoEs act as a wellspring of expeise, ensuring HCLTech clients benefit from the most advanced practices and solutions in these high-demand areas delivering beer efficiencies, insights and
faster time to market.

Vijay previously led HCLTech's Engineering and R&D Services (ERS), a $2 billion global business delivering innovative solutions in digital, engineering, cloud and AI for global clients and top R&D spenders across industries. He championed groundbreaking technologies and responsible growth, leading to the strategic evolution of ERS’s GenAI and sustainability business. He also led
the initiative to build Silicon-to-Cloud platforms, fostering intellectual propey panerships and integrating GenAI into chip design. His commitment extends to suppoing the semiconductor ecosystem through the establishment of the ATMP Lab, a vital resource for India's growth in this sector.
