Dr. Daniel Gerster is a Partner at ISG with more than 28 years of experience in executive leadership, strategy consulting, sourcing, and digital transformation. He leads ISG’s EMEA Sourcing Capability and serves as Global Co-Lead for ISG’s sourcing business, representing approximately 50% of ISG’s global revenues.

Daniel serves ISG clients across DACH, the Netherlands, and Brazil.
Daniel is recognized as a leading expert in IT sourcing, operating model transformation, and AI-driven organizational change.

As an ISG AI Fellow, he actively contributes to ISG’s AI thought leadership, focusing on AI-first operating models, organizational agility, and the autonomous enterprise. Prior to joining ISG, Daniel served as Global CIO of an international professional services firm operating in more than 35 countries.
